Per caso ho scoperto su YouTube e simili un filone molto divertente per me e, immagino, per qualunque fan che da bambino abbia battibeccato sul tema "è più forte X o Y?".
Confesso, io tutt'ora mi diverto ad immaginare come Goldrake possa respingere i Borg, come il corpo delle Lanterne Verdi possa fronteggiare Galactus, come il Dottor Destino possa umiliare Lex Luthor, come Buffy possa sconfiggere Worf sul ring, come Picard riesca a convincere 8472 e Voth ad entrare nella Federazione per sconfiggere un esercito nemico guidato da Trelane...

This video is probably about the 15th edited version of this question. A friend of mine and I edited the original called "The All Out Attack" back in high school/1983 using his betamax and my VHS deck. We'd have all night editing marathons on the week-ends. In 2002 I re-edited a 90 minute version called "Conquest of the Galaxy" using better VHS tapes for fun, and to see if it was possible using some many different elements, and "craft/edit" a co-hesive storyline, from programs that were never meant to be together. "A 90 minute version, are you insane?" LOL. Yes I am. But surprisingly, it works. This 9 minute version plays like a explosion trailer. But its fun, if you like to watch Birds or Prey fight Vipers! It is what is, but I hope you'll enjoy the diversionary sci-fi romp.

Digital divide

Si parla molto di digital divide, quando la rete divide chi non ha accesso ad essa, per competenze o infrastrutture, e chi ce l'ha.

Il ministro delle comunicazioni Paolo Gentiloni ha lanciato l'allarme: se il governo non prepara un progetto globale in merito, e non lo realizza nell'arco dei prossimi due-tre anni, l'Italia avrà seri problemi di competitività e di crescita nel campo delle new technology. Cinicamente: sarebbe solo l'ennesimo terreno con problemi di arretratezza. Ma cerchiamo di essere costruttivi.

In un Paese come il nostro il digital divide è una realtà più che un rischio per oltre il 10% della popolazione, che nemmeno ha accesso alla più infima delle ADSL, e per il 90% della popolazione, che non sa neppure accendere un PC.

Il paradosso è che il ministro, anziché lavorare per colmare questo gap, punta a finanziare la tv nel digitale terrestre e nel web, quando nel giro di pochi anni raimediaset sarà una nicchia per nonni, o quasi. Sky offre una tv di qualità di molto superiore, e fenomeni come Youtube e iTunes erodono tempo e attenzioni all'accoppiata poltrona-primaserata.

Sinceramente sono deluso dal ministro-blogger Gentiloni, e per quanto ho letto in questi anni, mi ritrovo più nelle idee di Paolo Cento, riguardo al futuro del web ed al sostegno che il governo dovrebbe garantirgli. Sarebbe bastato l'ammontare dei finanziamenti governativi per il digitale terrestre, per garantire un'adsl (se non la fibra) a quel 10% di comuni italiani. Ma Gentiloni pensa alla tv sul web.

Il Wi-max sarebbe un'alternativa seria, il FON un'altra, ma la vedo dura. Nel mondo ci sono tanti progetti, basterebbe che l'Italia ne scegliesse uno...
